Partner Engagement Opportunities
Partner Recruitment Committee
Help recruit new partners by developing referrals, meeting with prospective partners, or hosting small group introductions in your home.
Partner Engagement Committee
Develop processes for making partner engagement meaningful and satisfying for the partner and valuable for Investees.
Communications & Events Committee
Help plan SVP events, communications, and assist in gathering SVP “storytelling” content in video, testimonials, and writing.
Due Diligence Team
Select the nonprofit organizations that are chosen as Investees. Team members learn about the area of focus through a discovery process, review proposals, conduct site visits, and select final Investees. There is a Due Diligence Team for Spring and Fall grant making cycles each year.
Investment Committee
Develop investment policy to guide the selection of our Investees and evaluate the overall performance of our Investee portfolio.
Re-grant Team
Annually, current Investees make requests for additional funding. Members of the re-grant team evaluate Investees’ progress and award additional grants based on performance.
Lead Partner
Act as primary liaison between SVP Partners, staff, and the Investee. Lead Partners, with the help of staff, match partners with Investee needs, develop a capacity building plan with the Investee, and serve as their coach and advisor.
Other
Other volunteer opportunities arise during the year related to serving our Investees. For example, Genesys Works has a yearly clothing drive to help clothe their young professionals in gently-used business attire. Our Investees also hold open houses or other events you may also be able to support.
Do you have limited time, but want to help out an hour or two here and there? Perhaps you can help with data entry or write a story for our newsletter. Wherever you see an opportunity to help SVP and its Investees grow…let us know!
