Social Venture Partners Minnesota is currently engaged with six dynamic nonprofit organizations that serve ‘at risk’ children and youth: Athletes Committed to Educating Students, Baby’s Space, Bolder Options, Genesys Works, International Breast Milk Project, and Students Today Leaders Forever.
Former investees include: Admission Possible, Hiawatha Leadership Academy, Lundstrum Center for the Performing Arts, Seeing Hands, and YouthCARE. All our investees have powerful stories to tell about improving the lives of kids and families challenged by poverty.

Athletes Committed to Educating Students
is a unique structured learning program provided to inner-city youth in Minneapolis and Saint Paul during the after-school hours. The mission of A.C.E.S. is to provide inner-city youth with opportunities to build the skills necessary to succeed academically, develop personally and stand as equals to their peers in the community.
Admission Possible's mission is to help make college admission possible for talented, motivated and economically disadvantaged students in Minnesota by providing ACT test preparation services and admissions and financial aid consulting.
has been created to produce citizen-scholars who provide leadership for the common good. In partnership with its families and community, the Academy will work relentlessly to ensure that all students obtain the knowledge, skills, habits and character attributes required for four-year college success and lifelong contribution.
Youth for Cultural Appreciation & Racial Equality is a Twin Cities based nonprofit organization with a successful thirty year history of directing leadership development, multi-cultural, and educational programs and services for urban youth, 7-18 years old. SVP/MN funds the Young Women’s Mentoring Program in the Little Earth, McDonough and Glendale Apartments communities providing opportunities for young women to gain meaningful employment and develop their leadership skills as they "mentor" younger girls.
