Investees

Each year, SVP selects new nonprofits serving at-risk youth for its investment portfolio and for which Partners dedicate their time and resources.  The Due Diligence Team follows a rigorous vetting process with the nonprofit applicants by evaluating proposals, conducting research, hearing presentations, and participating in site visits.

Once selected, Partners offer support and monitor the progress of all Investees.  SVP collaborates with the Investees to improve their organizational capacity, including strategic planning, business operations, marketing, board and fund development, and information technology support.  SVP complements their program expertise by strengthening their internal operations and long-term capacity for success and sustainability.
