YOUTH VOICE INITIATIVE
SVP MN is committed to including youth voice into all of our programs and decision-making processes. We believe that to be an authentic leader in supporting under-resourced youth in the Twin Cities, we must center youth voice and hold the space for their leadership, perspectives and lived experiences to help guide SVP’s strategic direction.
Now recruiting youth for Youth-Led Grantmaking Taskforce
We are now recruiting young people ages 15-24 to participate in our Youth-Led Grantmaking Taskforce. Youth will be compensated $500 for their time and perspectives.
The young people participating will go through a facilitated curriculum at 5 meetings on Tuesday evenings from April 9th to May 14th from 5:30- 7:30. Two meetings will be in person and the other meetings will be via Zoom. Please help spread the word about this opportunity with the young people you know.
We believe in the power of young people to direct resources to organizations that are working hard to address the most pressing needs of young people in our community.

PROMOTING INNOVATIVE IDEAS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE
YouthSparks Ideas Competition- promoting innovative ideas for social change was launched in 2023. Winners have been selected and were featured at our Together for Good event- SVP’s annual celebration of Giving & Gratitude in January.
